As a group program development manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of NPI projects within the busbar business unit. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, manufacturing, procurement, and product management, you will ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, resources, and risks, facilitating clear stakeholder communication, and driving alignment across teams.


What You Will Do

* Lead development programs from concept through launch, including scoping, design, prototyping, testing, validation, industrialization, and mass production ramp-up

* Define and drive program schedules, budgets, resources, engineering deliverables, and risk mitigation

* Facilitate regular cross-functional program reviews (design, quality, manufacturing, procurement, business development)

* Coordinate with global Molex teams, suppliers, and customers to align technical specifications, schedules, and change control

* Monitor and report on program performance metrics (timing, costs, quality, yield, customer satisfaction)

* Identify potential technical or supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively escalate issues

* As a Program Manager, you will address and resolve differing perspectives between teams (e.g., product management, manufacturing, procurement) due to the cross-functional nature of the role, ensuring alignment and fostering effective collaboration across all departments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

* 5+ years of experience in new product introduction, management, or engineering development/manager within an electronics or manufacturing environment

* Proven track record delivering complex, high-volume manufacturing programs on-time and within budget

* Strong multi-site collaboration skills, including managing suppliers and internal/external stakeholders

* Solid understanding of electrical/mechanical components, manufacturing processes, and product validation methods

* Excellent project management skills: planning, resourcing, financials, risk, issue tracking

* Communication: able to present technical information clearly to both technical and executive audiences

* Leadership: demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and drive cross-functional teams

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.


For this role, we anticipate paying $105,000- $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
