Your Job

Molex is seeking a highly skilled and driven individual contributor to lead our Configure to Order (CTO) Engineering Program within the Optical Connectivity business unit. This role is critical to enhancing the efficiency and scalability of our CTO process, with a focus on reducing part number release cycle times and managing the rollout of new catalog schemes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, process optimization expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement across CTO operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence core engineering workflows and contribute directly to business growth and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Analyze current CTO workflows and identify bottlenecks in part number release processes.
    • Develop and implement improvements to reduce cycle time and increase throughput.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, IT, Manufacturing) to streamline data flow and system integration.
  • Catalog Scheme Management
    • Lead the planning and execution of new catalog scheme rollouts within the CTO framework.
    • Ensure seamless integration of catalog updates into engineering systems and processes.
    • Maintain alignment with product strategy and customer configuration requirements.
  • Program Leadership
    • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for CTO engineering initiatives.
    • Monitor program KPIs and report progress to the VP of Engineering.
    • Champion best practices and standardization across global engineering teams.
  • Additional Areas of Responsibility
    • Overall NPI Program Management
    • Manage R&D Dashboard for Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly Updates

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience in high paced engineering environments.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), ERP systems, and configuration tools.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in optical connectivity or related industries is a plus.
  • PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
  • Ability to work independently while influencing across teams and functions.

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $165,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
