How You'll Contribute: Provide technical and operational support for live productions, media recording, and audiovisual operations in a secure federal broadcast and conferencing environment. Ensure the flawless execution of mission-critical events, manages AV systems, and delivers high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure system readiness and compliance with operational and security requirements. What You'll Do: Set up and operate AV and broadcast equipment for live, recorded, virtual, and hybrid productions (cameras, microphones, a/v consoles, lighting, teleprompters, displays). Integrate virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, VTC) into broadcast workflows. Monitor and adjust live audio/video signals for quality, redundancy, and security. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot A/V and broadcast systems, as well as document configurations and recovery procedures. Record and archive media, ensuring compliance with retention standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior operators and lead large-scale productions as applicable. Adhere to and help refine operating procedures and support equipment modernization. Deliver excellent customer service and prepare reports and briefings as required. Respond to surge requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work Schedule & Requirements Monday-Friday, flexible shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) On-call coverage for evenings, weekends, holidays Fully on-site at a secure federal facility in the Washington D.C. area. What You'll Bring: Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Skills/Qualifications: Must have a minimum of active interim security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain active TS/SCI clearance. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in audiovisual operations, broadcast production, or technical event support. 2+ years with broadcast-quality AV systems setup and operation (audio, video, lighting, teleprompter, live switching, graphics). Expertise in operating and configuring professional AV equipment and virtual/hybrid meeting platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage tasks and direction in high-profile environments. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Government or large-scale broadcast experience. Relevant technical certifications preferred (CTS, Dante, Ross XPression, Crestron/AMX). Knowledge of industry standards (SMPTE, AES, ITU) and secure AV operations.
