Description Developer that will be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining application used for Independent Price Verification process for the office of the CFO. This resource will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with Python/REST API/SQL tech stack Top 3 Skills: * Object Oriented Development * Core Python Development * Database Storage Experience (SQL) * Django/Flask Role Specific Responsibilities: * Responsible for developing object-orientated software in Python, object-oriented database, and grid computing using proprietary Quartz platform. * Responsible for developing data transfer tools to replicate data from no-sql datastore to an Oracle (Exadata) database. * Participating fully in the development process through the entire software lifecycle. * Responsible for designing interface between UI and REST service. * Responsible for building data-grid centric UI based on Angular framework. * Participating fully in Agile software development process * Responsible for building REST web services. Required Experience: * Minimum 5 years of designing and developing in an object-oriented environment with any OO language is required. (i.e. Java, C++, C#, etc.) * 5 years designing and tuning SQL database tables/queries is required. * 4+ years Python experience. * Strong written and verbal communications * Will only consider candidates with at least one project with a 3+ year tenure duration Preferred Experience: * Experience with grid computing and high data volume * Angular / UI Development Experience * Experience doing test-driven development, functional testing and continuous integration is desirable Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
