Altaflex, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking for a Production Planner to join their team. The individual serves a critical role in bridging the gap between design engineering and manufacturing by developing fabrication processes and ensuring the manufacturability of complex flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs). The shift hours will be 8:00am to 4:30pm (PST).


Responsibilities

  • Create and output a process traveler for manufacturing. This includes sequential ordering, checking cut-sheet and process for repeat jobs.
  • Review completed gerber data from CAD/CAM Dept. Compare, check customer specs and material callouts.
  • Create and output working data/programs for specific departments (NC and CO2 laser).
  • Collaborate with design engineers to resolve DFM (Design for Manufacturability) issues.
  • Review fabrication drawings, stack-ups, and documentation for production release.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associates degree desired.
  • Production planning experience a plus.
  • Flexible circuit production experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to understand the entire process flow for single, double-side and multi-layer flex construction.
  • Ability to develop job travelers, be able to open and interpret CAD drawings, previous CAD design experience a plus.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
