Summary The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of the Enterprise Data and Analytics Services (EDAS) program by leading a primary workstream within the Critical Data Element (CDE) Certification initiative. This role is responsible for driving certification activities, managing a team of 6+ contractors, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through Agile methodologies. Key responsibilities include sprint planning and execution in Jira, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality, CDE Backlog Development, and Data Product Owners. The Senior Project Manager will also support communication of complex data flows to Lines of Business, maintain documentation for risk and regulatory compliance, and prepare executive-level presentations for EDAS leadership. This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a continuous improvement mindset to advance the EDAS program's data quality and certification objectives. Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead large, complex, high-priority projects impacting multiple senior stakeholders.
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Oversee project scope, objectives, deliverables, and value realization.
- Plan and manage resources, including internal teams and vendor performance.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, budgeting, and execution of budgetary requests.
Agile & Program Management
- Lead a workstream of 6+ contractors supporting CDE certification activities.
- Create and manage sprints in Jira; monitor velocity and adjust plans as needed.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve barriers to progress.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions of work products.
- Collaborate with Data Product Owners to communicate CDE data lineages and support business understanding of complex data flows.
- Drive effective communication and problem-solving across teams.
Continuous Improvement & Change Management
- Identify and implement optimizations in the CDE certification and project lifecycle processes.
- Lead change management planning, communication, and training initiatives.
Risk, Issue, and Compliance Management
- Track and resolve issues; perform impact analysis and escalate risks with corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation to meet risk and regulatory requirements.
- Manage access requests for necessary data, tools, and systems.
Communication & Mentorship
- Prepare and deliver clear presentations for EDAS leadership.
- Mentor junior project managers and foster team development.
- Confidently present to senior and executive stakeholders.
Required Skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- 5-7+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects.
- Proven success delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, and PLC methodologies.
- Experience in financial management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing contractors and virtual teams.
- Experience in change management and continuous process improvement.
- High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $94,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
