As a Sr. Manager, Innovation & Analytics Center of Excellence supporting Vision Care Sales Operations team, you will be trusted to lead a high-impact team responsible for delivering data-driven insights and advanced analytics across Commercial Operations, with a strong focus on supporting the Field Sales organization. This role will oversee three strategic pillars: Data Integrity (Business Data Preparation), Data Analytics, and Data Science. This role will champion the integration of GenAI use cases to transform how data is leveraged across the business. Located at our office in Fort Worth, TX

In this role, a typical day will include:

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational discipline and efficiencies across the CoE strategic pillars for high-quality, on-time deliverables to the business.
• Translate commercial business strategy into a value-driven roadmap, connecting business data engineering, advanced analytics, data science.
• Partner with IT to leverage GenAI in Commercial Operations.
• Partner with commercial leadership to define and evolve key metrics and insights frameworks that support sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives across franchises and functions.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and continuously evolve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Data Integrity

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Data Integrity Manager to ensure delivery of trusted, scalable, and well-governed data - ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security through data governance policies.
• Oversee development and maintain trusted, user-friendly business-layer databases that support analytics across CoE and franchise teams.
• Align with IT and enterprise architecture teams to ensure commercial business needs are embedded in pipeline design.

Data Analytics

• Guide the Analytics manager in delivering reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide actionable insights to field sales and leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and fulfill analytics and reporting requirements.
• Ensure analytics solutions are aligned with business strategy and designed for high adoption and ease of use.

Data Science

• Apply predictive modeling and advanced analytics to optimize sales strategies and guide sales rep focus.
• Ensure models are business-relevant, interpretable, and operationalized to scale.
• Identify opportunities to drive the adoption of GenAI solutions to enhance data utilization and create competitive advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Strong partnership with IT.
• Facilitate strong communication between technical and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support communication and training initiatives in partnership with the broader Innovation & Analytics team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs.
• Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in data analytics, data science, or a related leadership role, preferably within commercial or sales operations.
• Proficiency in tools such as AWS QuickSight, Alteryx, Tableau, and relevant programming languages.
• Visionary mindset with a passion for leveraging GenAI and emerging technologies to drive business innovation.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
