As a Senior Transportation Manager at RXO, you will oversee a multi-location operation with up to 100 company drivers. Your focus will be on P&L, asset management, safety, customer service, driver onboarding and operations staff development. Become a part of our growing, dynamic team and we'll help you develop to a level that will exceed your expectations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Maintain responsibility for overall P&L to meet established budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the operation's communication, interaction and relationship with company drivers
  • Oversee the management of tractor maintenance, compliance and service delivery
  • Manage 1-2 on-site managers who supervise a total of 20-30 employees
  • Track operational performance including on-time pick-up and delivery, volume, equipment balance and empty miles
  • Ensure driver recruiting and retention meets established fleet size goals

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 5 years of transportation management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Strong experience in the principles and practices of the transportation industry

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of experience in the transportation industry
  • Dedicated Fleet Management experience
  • Ability to find opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources and implement solutions
