Job Description

The North America Product - Strategic Initiatives team drives high-impact, cross-functional projects that shape the future of Visa's product strategy and commercialization in the region. As a Manager, you will support the execution of product-related initiatives and workstreams, applying analytical rigor, structured problem solving, and creativity to help solve Visa's most important product challenges.

You will:

  • Support product-related initiatives or workstreams, contributing to the planning, coordination, and day-to-day activities needed to meet goals and timelines.

  • Help distill ambiguous problems or opportunities into clear project plans, identifying and tracking actionable next steps.

  • Conduct rigorous, fact-based, quantitative and qualitative analysis to support recommendations, ensuring strategic and financial soundness.

  • Build and apply a growing knowledge base of Visa's products, clients, market trends, and competitive landscape to project work.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support alignment and effective execution.

  • Prepare clear and concise communications for project teams and senior audiences (e.g., presentations, models, briefing documents).

  • Manage priorities in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving needs and opportunities.

  • Contribute to team development by sharing learnings and supporting broader team initiatives as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

* Experience in and/or exposure to the payments industry is preferred.

* Aptitude for ramping up quickly across novel projects with guidance and support.

* Ability to support and execute complex projects and processes, contributing to success across a variety of functional business problems and stakeholders.

* Ability to identify key information and next steps from multiple data points and perspectives to help move a project forward.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and intellectual rigor.

* Ability to clearly communicate messages to project teams and senior stakeholders.

* Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and effective working relationships within Visa.

* Self-starter, team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with solid presentation skills, including effective oral and written communication.

Additional Information

Work Authorization:Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 211,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
