Security Officer - Patrol Driver Clearance Required

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will support a positive atmosphere. Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergencies as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Monitor the location for suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and/or breaches of policy, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and other documentation as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and client personnel to maintain a secure environment in a defense and aerospace setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
