Overview and Responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Software Developer to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for developing, testing, installing and modifying computer equipment such as operating systems, compilers, utilities, multiprogramming and telecommunications systems. Creates logic flowcharts and encodes, tests, debugs, documents and installs programs Interfaces with and supports the applications programming effort Provides technical consulting on routine projects Follows standard procedures to solve basic problems considering computer equipment capacity, operating time and desired results Codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background investigation (company-wide) Drug screen (when applicable for the position) Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required One year of Java development experience with Spring One-year experience with EXT JS or Angular JS or React JS Experience with relational and object oriented modeling, required Experience with requirements gathering and documentation, required Preferred Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, preferred Experience writing test classes and test methods, preferred Skills and Competencies Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual) Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Multi-task along with attention to detail Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Work independently and as part of a team Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities Email transmission and communication Internet navigation and research Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet Physical Demands Utilize computer for extensive hours; close vision Move about the facility, physically communicating to others.
