Job Description




As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an Aero/Defense location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, providing assistance to visitors and staff, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aviation and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on post.
  • Follow all post orders and site-specific protocols relevant to the aviation and defense environment.
  • Assist with access control measures as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
