Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols play a key role in maintaining order and supporting customer service for all who visit or work at the site. This position involves driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site integrity.
• Observe and report any irregularities such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on site.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal and client personnel to support site-specific security-related needs and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
