As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading organization in the tech, media, and telecom location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. You will interact with clients and visitors, responding to situations as needed and supporting a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Support access control protocols by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns regarding security-related issues.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
