AS400 Change Management/System Administration Specialist

Summary:

The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to perform installation, configuration, security and administration of IBM I systems, and develop solutions using 2E. MKS admin is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, security and administration of IBM I systems

Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions

Serve as collaborate pivot point between the engineers and management

Other duties as assigned. Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 10+ years experience

Experience with IBM i

MKS administration experience

MIMIX administration experience

Security and Object Authority Administration

Experience with Rx Claim

Exposure to ROBOT, IASP work, working with big files

Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team

Ability to transition abstract concepts into technical deployment designs

Ability to develop decision criteria and develop unbiased technology comparisons

Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills

Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment.
