What to Expect The Yard Hostler is responsible for safely moving and positioning trailers and containers within the yard to ensure efficient loading and unloading operations. This role requires strong communication skills to coordinate with dock personnel and drivers, as well as adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should have experience in logistics or yard operations, a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, and must be able to operate yard trucks safely. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining yard efficiency.
