Launch Your Engineering Career with Watlow


Are you ready to accelerate your career and become a part of the next generation of technical innovators? Watlow's 2026 Technical Rotational Program offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to dive into real-world engineering problems, build valuable industry experience, and develop a strong foundation for a successful career.



Program Overview


This full-time, six-month rotational program is designed to fast-track technical graduates, providing hands-on experience across various roles, functions, and business units within Watlow. Through this immersive program, you will gain exposure to cutting-edge projects, build a robust professional network, and enhance your technical knowledge, all while being guided by experienced mentors.



The cohort rotations kick off in July 2026, and by January 2027, you will be ready to step into your full-time role with Watlow, equipped with the insights and experiences to make an impact.



Rotations


During the program, you will rotate through three unique two-month assignments, offering you the chance to:



  • Experience different Watlow sites while learning about different technologies, products and customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment or technical development center
  • Build meaningful connections with team members at different levels across multiple locations


Your rotational journey will take you to various sites, offering relocation, housing, and transportation for each assignment. Destinations include:



  • Columbia, MO
  • Hannibal, MO
  • San Jose, CA
  • St. Louis, MO
  • Winona, MN


Rotations are customized based on projects to ensure you gain the most valuable experiences to prepare you for your future role at Watlow.



Mentorship


You will be paired with a senior engineer who will provide personalized coaching and guidance, ensuring you stay on track for both professional and personal development.



Learning & Development


This is not just a learning experience - it's an opportunity to make an impact. You will be working on real-world projects, applying your classroom knowledge in practical settings, and contributing to strategic business initiatives



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in an Metallurgical or Materials Engineering by June 2026
  • Availability to start the program in July 2026
  • Willingness to relocate to various Watlow facilities for up to six months


Desired Qualifications



  • Welding, Brazing, or Metals experience
  • Previous co-op or internship experience
  • Proven experience working effectively in teams through participation in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or other collaborative experiences.
