Job Title: Project Management Senior Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Remote)
Job Summary:
An ideal candidate should have Smartsheet experience, must understand the Agile principles and have experience in Agile project management and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.).
You must possess a demonstrated ability to influence without authority, drive detailed project planning, and lead projects execution. Proficiency & adaptability with related software tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Miro, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneNote, Office 365, etc.) is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the engineering or pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
Key Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for all aspects of various projects of a moderately complex nature.
  • Interface with all areas affected or supporting the project.
  • Responsible for assembling project time, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery including budget/spending if needed.
  • Provides clear direction on project requirements to meet expectations of customers and stakeholders.
  • Leads the team in defining program strategies, developing goals, identifying risks, assigning project tasks and ensures the team meets all goals.
  • Interacts through program updates and reviews with all levels of management.
  • Provides Project Management technical expertise in all phases of project execution.
  • Applies Agile principles in all project management activities.
  • Anticipates and resolves conflict situations in a win-win outcome.
  • Contributes to study management and the development of study documents as appropriate as well as any updates/amendments, ensuring template and version compliance.
  • Manages the set-up of third-party vendors, assessing initial statement of work and budget, as well as the change order process.
  • Prepares presentation material for meetings and newsletters.
  • Contributes to review of new/amended/unique SOPs and guidance documents.


Required Qualifications:


  • BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, life sciences, or other technical discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
