What you'll do

As the Lead AI Agentic Engineer on the End User Engineering team, you will define and drive the technical vision for the next generation of autonomous IT operations. You will architect, scale, and operationalize agentic AI solutions that proactively resolve issues, eliminate operational burden, and strengthen enterprise security.

As the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and owner of the technical roadmap, you will lead the design and implementation of a scalable, production-grade Agentic Platform. This role requires collaboration across IT, security, and business teams. You will lead the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for AI workflows and agents, focusing on developing secure, compliant, and scalable AI-driven solutions that enhance the employee experience and protect our IT environment.

This position is an indivdual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, End User Engineering.

Responsibility

  • Lead the architecture and development of a highly scalable, agentic AI platform using frameworks like Crew AI or Vertex AI
  • Design and implement autonomous multi-agent systems with advanced control flows to perform safe, automated remediation of end-user issues within our infrastructure
  • Drive software engineering excellence by mandating code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and deploy secure, low-latency APIs that allow AI agents to interface programmatically with our SaaS applications
  • Champion and enforce security-first principles by designing and mandating security standards for all agentic workflows to protect corporate assets
  • Own the lifecycle of your agents-from continuous improvement to training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers, elevating the team's technical capabilities and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Own the agentic AI platform strategy, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and secure integration as a core component of the IT ecosystem
  • Evangelize and educate stakeholders on the capabilities and value of agentic AI, driving adoption and influencing cross-functional roadmaps

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experienced in Software Engineering Fundamentals: Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms using Python, Go, or C++
  • Experience as a Technical Lead managing large projects involving other AI Engineers and cross-functional partners
  • Proven expertise in agentic AI frameworks, workflow automation, and intelligent IT service management
  • Experience building and deploying applications using LLMs (RAG pipelines, Vector Databases, LangChain) specifically for technical domains (code analysis, log parsing)
  • Demonstrated experience embedding security and compliance controls into AI/automation workflows
  • Understanding of IT operations, incident management, and ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred

  • Experience with multi-agent orchestration and AI/ML frameworks at scale
  • Experience with Multi-Agent frameworks (AutoGen, CrewAI) applied to complex control flows
  • Experience designing end-user AI interfaces (chatbots, copilots, self-service portals) and building rapid proof-of-concepts
  • Familiarity with zero-trust, security monitoring, and cloud-native architectures
  • Demonstrated prompt engineering expertise and LLM strategy development
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS integration patterns
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and influence skills, capable of guiding cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption
  • Certifications in AI, cloud computing, or ITSM platforms are a plus

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $151,200.00 - $222,450.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
