Daikin Applied is now hiring for an Interactive and Graphic Design Intern in Plymouth, MN!

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graphic and Interactive Design Intern to join our dynamic Marketing team. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting while working on a variety of real-world projects across digital, email, and social platforms. Location: Plymouth, MN. Hybrid role.

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2026

What you will do:

• Collaborate with design, marketing, and technical writing teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.

• Research industry trends and identify opportunities to expand into new design areas such as interactive, video, and 3D work.

• Explore and experiment with emerging tools and formats such as motion graphics, AR/VR experiences, or AI-assisted design.

• Contribute ideas for cutting-edge digital storytelling and immersive campaign visuals.

• Assist in the creation of high-quality digital and print assets, including social media graphics, web visuals, presentations, email templates, ads, and promotional materials.

• Participate in team meetings, critiques, and feedback sessions.

• Prepare final artwork for production or publishing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field

• Curiosity about new and evolving design technologies

• Strong willingness to learn beyond traditional design and contribute creative approaches in digital, interactive, and 3D formats

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop)

• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $23/hr - $25/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
