As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Control in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and delivering exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting as required.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other emergency procedures as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
