What You'll Do:

• Perform screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location, following all site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with questions and directions as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
