Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Full Time

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Greensburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response protocols as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
