Job Description




As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will support a positive atmosphere for all. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or concerns.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
  • Remain alert and adaptable to changing environments and conditions specific to the technology and media sector.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
