NDT SME

Acuren is currently recruiting for an NDT SME to support our operations in Commerce City, CO. This is a senior level position with some supervisory responsibilities.

The NSDT SME wil set up and calibrate testing equipment. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects). Devise ways to examine objects, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.

Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) Course and/or NDT Foundations Course
• Familiarization of NDE methods (conventional and advanced)

• Pay Transparency:As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $45.00-$70.00 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications.

• Extreme cold and extreme heat environmental conditions, in and near hazards to include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places in excess of 100 feet, exposure to high heat, extreme cold, or exposure to chemicals, in conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
• Adaptable to changing schedules with willingness to travel regularly, including last minute and overnight travel. Must be willing to overtime.

• PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS: Describe the physical effort needed in order to perform the job, including and level of ongoing concentration and stress.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment

• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Sufficient balance and mobility to navigate various surfaces and elevations
• Sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling tools

• Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to detect audible equipment indicators or alarms
