Digital Modeler

As a Digital Modeler in the Product Design team, you will be involved with a great variety of design challenges: Energy products, charging products, vehicle accessories, lifestyle products, environments, etc. The scope of the work will be primarily to support the product designers with digital modeling services using a suite of 3D CAD software (Alias, Sub-D, etc.). From time to time, you will be asked to contribute to the teams' design efforts; the scope of which could range from sketches/ideation, brainstorming as a group, to strategies to transition ideas to mass production.

• Provide high level digital modeling using Alias to support the Product Design team
• Provide creative and relevant conceptual thinking for a variety of projects
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Reasonable knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
• Interfacing with engineeringcounterparts to infuse their requirements into the design and development of new products

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent experience
• Advanced skills with Alias is a must
• Some previous product design experience
• Strong sense of aesthetics, proportions
• Creative problem solving
• 1-3years relevant experience
