Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician specializing in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair. In this critical role, you'll ensure optimal performance of assembly equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards in our FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. Schedule:Day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with 2/2/3 rotation Pay: $30.00/hour Shift differential: $0.50/hour Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex assembly equipment and production machinery Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on manufacturing systems according to established schedules Utilize PLC programming knowledge to identify and resolve automation issues Maintain and calibrate vision inspection systems for quality control Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in digital systems Provide technical guidance to production operators on equipment operation Operate material handling equipment including forklifts/tow motors when required Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and company safety protocols Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Engineering Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, or related technical field Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics Experience with vision systems and quality inspection equipment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance systems Valid forklift/tow motor certification (or ability to obtain) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field Experience in FDA-regulated or medical device manufacturing environments CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) certification Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures Core Competencies Technical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude Effective communication and active listening skills Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines Strong attention to detail and quality focus Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance Self-motivated with ability to prioritize maintenance tasks Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment Visual acuity for inspecting machine components Benefits and Perks 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discounts Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid elder care Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Information at a Glance WHY WORK AT SEALED AIR?
