Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician specializing in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair. In this critical role, you'll ensure optimal performance of assembly equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards in our FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.



Schedule:Day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with 2/2/3 rotation
Pay: $30.00/hour
Shift differential: $0.50/hour



Key Responsibilities



  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex assembly equipment and production machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on manufacturing systems according to established schedules
  • Utilize PLC programming knowledge to identify and resolve automation issues
  • Maintain and calibrate vision inspection systems for quality control
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in digital systems
  • Provide technical guidance to production operators on equipment operation
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts/tow motors when required
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and company safety protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Engineering

Qualifications

Required



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, or related technical field
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Experience with vision systems and quality inspection equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance systems
  • Valid forklift/tow motor certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities



Preferred Qualifications



  • Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field
  • Experience in FDA-regulated or medical device manufacturing environments
  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician) certification
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures
