Job Summary
The Director of Information Technology I, will plan, organize, and oversee the information technology support function for a campus unit. Includes the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems required to meet the unit's information technology needs. Responsible for setting employee goals, determining organizational structure to meet those goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and recommending pay actions. Responsibilities

This is a supervisory position. Salary Range: $124,950 to $140,000 Location: Atlanta The Director of Technology Design & Strategy provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology-enabled service solutions that enhance the campus experience at Georgia Tech. This role champions a comprehensive vision for service transformation by integrating technology, user-centered design, and data insights to elevate service quality and student satisfaction. The Director develops multi-year strategic technology roadmaps, embeds behavioral insights into service initiatives, and leads cross-functional projects from concept through implementation. By partnering with campus stakeholders and IT leadership, the Director ensures that digital platforms and service touchpoints are intuitive, integrated, and aligned with institutional goals. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the development of digital products, establishing performance metrics and service standards, guiding enterprise architecture and system integration, and evaluating emerging technologies to drive operational excellence, accessibility, and innovation across Campus Services.
