Job Description

You will provide facility maintenance support of our Mequon Wisconsin location. Main responsibilities include maintaining an organized, comfortable, and safe work environment for 1,000+ employees by providing first-class services to the building structure, equipment, and grounds. Must have knowledge to support all areas of building structure, roofing, siding, windows, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. We require experience with skilled trades work such as carpentry, plumbing, and fabrication. Take requests through our work order system and determine an organized and safe method to complete requests. Help with the coordination and oversight of service contractors. You will report to the Facilities Supervisor and work onsite 5 days a week in Mequon, WI.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Experience in plumbing repairs (faucets, valves, pipes, appliances, stoppages in waste/drainage pipes, custom machine plumbing).
  • General electrical repair skills (lighting, production machines, building equipment); use tools such as a Fluke meter.
  • Carpentry skills for simple wooden fixtures, doors, walls, and furniture repairs.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance for production equipment and building mechanicals.
  • Experience with the use of basic hand and power tools for minor repairs of all types.
  • Read prints and mechanical drawings for building layout and expansion projects.
  • Operate aerial lifts and industrial fork trucks.
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, SAP, and Maintain software for preventive maintenance schedules).
  • Willingness to be available during off hours for on-call activities.
  • Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO standards, company policies).
  • Demonstrated accountability for commitments, deadlines, and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Flexibility to provide support outside of standard business hours when necessary, including participation in oncall activities.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining accountability and high performance.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Four years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience supporting and overseeing capital projects, special repairs, and construction (paving, roofing, flooring).
  • Coordinate and oversee service contractors (janitorial, landscaping, snow removal).
  • Experience working with and overseeing outside contractors on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roofing projects.
  • Facilitate office renovations, including disassembling, moving, and reassembling cubicles and furniture.
  • Welding skills for machine repair and custom fabricating (stick and wire welding).
  • Install and maintain compressed air lines, including sweating/soldering copper pipes.
  • Expert knowledge of English and metric screws, nuts, bolts, fasteners, wrenches, and sockets.
  • Strong understanding of business goals and ability to recommend improvements.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures (Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations).
