Essential Duties:

Responsible to develop and implement manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls.



  • Assists with the analysis and design of lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and tools to optimize use of space, equipment, material and personnel
  • Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of processes and related equipment
  • Confers with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
  • Develops work aids and/or documentation for products in order to train assembly personnel
  • Applies statistical methods and performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
  • Represents manufacturing and/or engineering on cross-functional teams
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
  • Available for travel as required


Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:



  • Min of three years related experience
  • Experience in Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar programs; CNC programming experience desired
  • Strong knowledge in written product specifications
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple products through manufacturing process
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
  • Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Experience in ERP systems, SAP desired
