The Missions and Insights team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer intern for our team in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team with a critical skillset. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of projects, including https://www.cape.com/ and more.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Contribute to frontend (Angular) and backend (Python/Django) architecture, development, and testing. Perform code reviews and

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, production environments, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

  • Experience in Python is required, building RESTful APIs and Microservices using Django or Flask.

  • Strong web application development using Angular or React.

  • Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, SQLite, MySQL.

  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), writing and maintaining unit tests, and environment configuration.

  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to explore new approaches and technologies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

A strong candidate may also experience working with:

  • DevOps (tracking, pipelines) and Git (source control, code reviews).

  • video/data streaming, handling data files, and analytics libraries.

  • clustering, tracking, and pathfinding algorithms or machine learning libraries.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field and graduating December 1st, 2026 or later
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
