Position Title: Building & Grounds Supervisor Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Building & Grounds Supervisor Job Duties: Under the general supervision of the Building & Grounds Superintendent, the Building & Grounds Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of day-to-day activities in carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks. This position functions as the supervisor for all full-time and student maintenance staff across all University Housing facilities (Sandburg Residence Halls, Cambridge Commons, Riverview, and Kenilworth Square Apartments) consisting of over 1 million square feet of space with an academic year population of around 4,300 residents. The individual must be capable of making independent decisions involving the mechanical and maintenance functions. Physical Requirements:
