UHP is also the primary physician group for Truman Medical Centers Lakewood/University Health in Kansas City, MO. RESPONSIBILITIES The Department of Community and Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health and University Health Physicians seeks a full-time board-certified family physician with advanced surgical obstetric skills, including C-sections, to join our academic program located in a rapidly growing area of Kansas City. Maternity Care & Women's Health are vital components of Family Medicine, and a strong component of our residency program. Additionally, theUMKC/UH Family Medicine Advanced Maternity Care Fellowshipbased at University Health Lakewood Medical Center exists to provide family medicine residency graduates who have a high degree of interest and experience in maternity care/women's health opportunity to continue their training in Family Medicine Surgical Obstetrics/Maternity Care. This faculty position provides an opportunity to become a member of a dynamic, expanding academic program and allows for faculty development. The faculty will work directly supervising residents and fellows on Labor and Delivery and in clinic as well as providing family medicine for their own panel of patients.
