Job Description: The FPGA Emulation team in the MCU division is looking for a pre-silicon FPGA validation engineer. As an experienced validation engineer, you will interact with design engineers in charge of different parts of our microcontrollers, define test plans and implement tests. Having good debugging and investigation skills is crucial in this role. You will also need to have a system approach and therefore consider the microcontroller as a whole rather than the sum of its constituents. In this role, you will work with members of other R&D disciplines (architecture, design, verification, validation, and applications) to improve the quality of our microcontrollers. Detecting errors so early in the design phase allows them to be corrected and therefore moves towards our goal of a correct final design by construction before mass producing our microcontrollers on silicon.
