Job Description: Data Center Technician Location: Levittown, PA Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM Company: TEKsystems (supporting a major longstanding financial services client) Environment: 200,000 sq ft, stateoftheart Data Center - one of the most critical facilities on the East Coast. Overview TEKsystems is partnering with one of our long-standing enterprise clients to hire multiple Data Center Technicians for their Levittown, PA facility. This is an excellent opportunity to support a missioncritical, highsecurity data center environment for a major banking institution. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in active/live data centers performing cabling, patching, documentation, and physical infrastructure support. Responsibilities * Work within a live production data center while adhering to strict change control and operational procedures. * Pull, route, and terminate Cat6A cabling, including patching into racks and cabinets. * Perform surveying, patching, labeling, and documentation to meet client standards. * Conduct Fluke testing and certifying of installed cable runs. * Assist with trunking, overhead cable pathway installation, and structured cabling build-outs. * Support physical infrastructure tasks such as racking/stacking network and server hardware (as needed). * Maintain accurate records within ticketing and documentation systems. * Follow all security, safety, and access control requirements for a highimportance financial data center. Required Skills * Experience working in a live data center environment. * Hands-on experience with Cat6A cabling - pulling, terminating, dressing, and testing. * Proven background with surveying, patching, labeling, and documentation. Preferred / Additional Qualifications * Experience with Fluke DSX cable testing. * Familiarity with trunking and pathway systems. * Ability to perform laborintensive, physical work in a large-scale data center environment. * Strong attention to detail and adherence to process. * Ability to work on a consistent second shift (5 PM - 1:30 AM). Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Levittown, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
