Location

Located in historic Old Town, Southernmost Beach Resort expands over 6 acres on a serene part of the island with Atlantic Ocean front views, gorgeous Key West architecture, and all the amenities you desire in a beach resort. Just a short walk or bike ride from Key West's boutique shops, art galleries, eclectic restaurants, and non-stop nightlife, the resort spans over two city blocks and offers guest rooms that are located within easy reach of both the beach and world-famous Duval Street.



Overview

Direct booking and detailing of small meeting and room blocks for various clients to include both corporate and social clientele. Maximizes profitability and revenue of the hotel by upselling in order to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain strong client partnerships by communicating all event and group details clearly, preparing proposals/contracts, conducting site visits, and professionally representing the hotel.

    • Manage all group sales processes, including selling rooms and F&B to small groups, reviewing contracts, monitoring deadlines (cutoffs, BEOs, guarantees), and coordinating rooming lists, payments, and deposits.

    • Create and distribute accurate group resumes, communicate updates to all departments, and participate in required sales, operations, and BEO meetings to ensure flawless execution.

    • Follow organizational standards and SOPs while seeking revenueenhancing opportunities, maintaining competitive drive, and performing additional duties as needed.



Qualifications

    • Strong communication abilities (written, verbal, phone) with a professional demeanor and consistent guestfocused service.

    • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel; sales software experience (Delphi/SalesPro/Marriott systems) is a plus.

    • Demonstrated sales capability, including negotiation, influencing buying decisions, closing deals, and maintaining key partnerships; 1-2 years of hospitality sales experience preferred.

    • Highly organized and able to multitask, manage time, prioritize effectively, and perform well under pressure in a 24/7 hospitality environment, including weekends and holidays.

    • Meets basic requirements such as a high school diploma (college preferred) and a valid driver's license for client visits, while maintaining calm, courteous professionalism at all times.
