As a Security Officer - Logistics Yard Patrol in Warwick, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, drivers, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and escalate concerns as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter, watching for suspicious activity, unsecured doors, damaged fencing, and other irregular conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow as assigned, verifying authorization, directing deliveries to the proper areas, and/or controlling entry during high-volume shipping and receiving periods.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate status updates during shift turnover to support consistent security-related coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
