As a Security Officer - Armed - Financial Site in Hunt Valley, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and quick response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Carry and maintain authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies while performing assigned duties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking lots, ATM and drive-up areas, entrances, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, monitor access points, and communicate security-related information promptly via radio, phone, and/or written documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
