As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will complete visible patrols and routine checks, provide friendly customer service, and communicate clearly with store teams while documenting security-related activity. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to cover multiple areas and respond to calls for assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances and exits, back-of-house areas, and exterior perimeter as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical situations, and coordinating with local emergency services when needed.
• Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help to deter theft, property damage, and policy violations, while supporting loss prevention and operational teams as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
