eCommerce - EDI Manager

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an eCommerce - EDI Manager to join our team! We are seeking an experienced, detail driven EDI / B2B Manager to lead and support our organization's B2B integrations, digital commerce capabilities, and customer onboarding initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of EDI transactions, PunchOut and hosted catalog integrations, and maintaining strong technical and business relationships with customers and marketplace partners.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in EDI, cXML, marketplace integrations, and Order to Cash processes, along with strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills. This position also includes supervising a small team and providing Level 2 and Level 3 production support.

Salary Range- $ 90,000 to $132,000 (commensurate with industry experience)

What you will be doing:

EDI, B2B, and Catalog Integrations

• Lead onboarding of new customers across EDI and PunchOut platforms through multiple marketplaces.

• Manage and optimize PunchOut catalogs, hosted catalogs, and marketplace-specific integration requirements.

• Support and maintain integrations with key marketplaces including:
  SAP Ariba, Jaggaer (SciQuest), Coupa, GHX, GEP, Oracle Business Network.

EDI & cXML Technical Expertise

• Apply strong knowledge of ANSI X12 standards, including transaction sets 850, 855, 856, 810.

• Manage secure communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and HTTPS.

• Work with cXML-based documents, including POs, PO Acknowledgments, ASNs, and Invoices.

Platform & System Management

• Work with OpenText / Alloy, including Managed Services and Community Project systems.

• Support integration activities on the Oracle B2B platform.

• Troubleshoot mapping issues, validate transactions, and manage exceptions across all B2B systems.

Order-to-Cash (OTC) Process Leadership

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for EDI-related components of the OTC process.

• Utilize knowledge of JD Edwards (preferred) to interpret business rules, validate transactions, and resolve order/invoice discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with unique marketplace business rules and validations.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

• Support cross-functional efforts to enhance digital commerce capabilities.

• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, thirdparty vendors, and marketplace partners.

Team Leadership & Operational Oversight

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 members, providing guidance, training, and performance support.

• Maintain strong organizational processes to manage multiple projects and integration initiatives.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, resolving complex technical and functional issues.

What makes you great:

* Minimum Bachelors education with 6-8 years of experience in EDI.

* Strong hands-on experience with EDI, cXML, PunchOut, and B2B integration technologies.

* Deep knowledge of ANSI X12 standards, AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and ERP order flows.

* Marketplace integration experience with Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, GHX, GEP, or similar platforms.

* Experience with OpenText/Alloy and Oracle B2B platforms preferred.

* Strong understanding of the Order-to-Cash process; JD Edwards experience is a plus.

* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Proven leadership experience managing small teams and cross-functional initiatives.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

* Ability to travel up to 5 - 10% (domestic)

* Ability to work independently and set aggressive personal goals
