What you'll be doing..

Responsible for the end-to-end development of internal automation tools and agentic AI technologies. A Tooling & Automation Architect handles the complete technical pipeline, from data ingestion to UI, utilizing a modern, cloud-native framework. This role focuses on the front and back-end development of next-generation productivity tooling, driving the implementation of "smart" automation and integrating Generative AI into Global Enterprise and Public Sector pre-sales business processes.

Role Overview:

  • Full Stack & Cloud-Native Specialization: Responsible for end-to-end development (data ingestion to UI) of internal tools, specializing in modern, cloud-native architectures within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.

  • Generative AI & Automation Integration: Driving the implementation of "smart" automation by integrating Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Vertex AI) into enterprise business processes.

  • RAG and AI Model Development: Implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to connect LLMs to custom data, executing prompt engineering, and fine-tuning foundational models.

  • GCP Core Technologies: Extensive hands-on experience required with key GCP services, including Cloud Run for containerized microservices, Compute Engine, BigQuery for data aggregation, and Cloud Build for CI/CD.

  • Python and Backend Proficiency: Python (Proficient Level) is the preferred industry standard for backend, cloud, and automation development, alongside proficiency in building high-throughput APIs (FastAPI, Flask).

  • Modern Frontend & Prototyping: Developing user-centric frontends using React and utilizing Streamlit for rapid prototyping and building internal data dashboards quickly.

What we're looking for...

  • Two or more years of experience in Systems and Solution Architecture Design. Must possess strong knowledge of IP Data Networking (routing, switching, load balancing, high availability) and experience with cellular wireless services, managed services IT, or security solutions.

  • High-level proficiency in Python as the primary standard for cloud and automation development. Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, specifically Cloud Run (containerization), Compute Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in building high-throughput APIs using FastAPI or Flask, including managing traffic via Application Load Balancers.

  • Practical application of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including experience with Gemini, Vertex AI, and LangChain. Must demonstrate skills in Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning strategies, and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

  • Strong ability to clean, transform, and prepare raw data using SQL and Python for complex aggregation and filtering within BigQuery.

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React) and data visualization libraries (D3). Proficiency in using Streamlit for building rapid internal data tools and collaborating on UI/UX design wireframes using Figma.

  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and managing development through GitLab. Must be capable of orchestrating CI/CD pipelines via Cloud Build and Artifact Registry, while enforcing code quality standards through peer reviews and unit/integration testing (PyTest, Jest).

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of
    relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Two or more years of experience in Architecture Design.

  • Experience with cellular wireless services (data & voice) cloud, managed services IT, security, or mobility solutions.

  • IP Data Networking experience (routing, switching, load balancing, high availability, etc).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering.

  • Three or more years of experience in a customer facing position (sales, sales engineering, consulting).

  • Certifications: Award Solutions - RR Solutions coursework, Cloud Provider education and certification, CCIE, CISSP, CCENT, CompTIA Network+, Wireless Recognized Certifications, OEM (Ex: Cisco, CradlePoint), CompTIA Security+.

  • Knowledge of 5G.

  • Knowledge of LTE, VoLTE, CDMA and experience with Voice IP Services (SIP, Skype, UCC, Jabber, Spark).

  • Experience with Software Defined Networking and Virtual Network Services.

  • Technical expertise with some major technology companies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Fortinet.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $108,000.00 - $207,000.00.
