Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. All Client safety protocols will be followed by the Inspection Monitor and the supplier employees performing the inspections. Any concerns may be escalated to the monitor"s supervisor or a member of the plant EHS staff for clarification.
2. Suppliers will typically deliver 2 to 3 truckloads of clean totes to Client each weekday and will provide personnel to perform containment inspections once totes are received at Client.
3. Client warehouse receiving personnel will unload the clean totes from the truck and space out in the warehouse area leaving sufficient room for inspectors to access all sides of each tote.
4. The Inspection Monitor will observe supplier inspectors and spot check to ensure cleanliness and functional requirements are met.
5. The Inspection Monitor will record results of inspections on a paper copy of the 'PCL Tote Inspection - Master' sheet and/or in an Excel version of the sheet as required.
6. Once each inspection is complete, the Client monitor will notify receiving personnel that the accepted totes may be moved into the normal storage location.
7. Rejected totes will have a 'Defective Tote' sticker applied by the Inspection Monitor and filled out with the appropriate information. Receiving personnel will be notified to place rejected totes in a holding location for return to Quala on the next truck.
8. Additional duties of the Inspection Monitor will include:
a. Compile and distribute periodic reports summarizing the inspection results.
b. Recording additional data relevant to the tote fleet and updating properties in the Tote Tracking System application.
c. Taking a weekly physical inventory of clean empty totes and reporting the results.
d. Assisting in quality investigations and other activities related to totes.
9. Providing other administrative support to the warehouse operation as requested
