Title: Building Inspector Location: Dallas, TX 75207 Duration: 6+ Months Pay rate: $24.34/hr. on w2 Without benefits. Shift timings: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. BG/DT required: Yes Job Description: Performs unit assessments and calculates square footage of home; Inspects windows, doors, attic, crawl space, caulking, weather-stripping, holes in the building envelopes, roof condition, and the efficiencies of mechanical systems. Identifies Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) and recommends the appropriate repair or replacement opportunities. Enters home energy assessment data to track progress and metrics. Conducts health and safety assessments of the home and provides recommendations for improvement measures. Assesses single or multifamily dwelling units to assess if units are compliant with standard codes. Provides client education for care and upkeep of equipment and home upgrades. Qualifications Required: Education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree. One (1) year of work related experience. Must possess a valid TX driver's license, with a good driving record. Bilingual - Preferably bilingual.
