About Business Intelligence at JLL:
The Business Intelligence (BI) function within JLL supports data-driven decision-making by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. Through advanced analytics, dashboard development, and reporting automation, the BI team enables operational excellence, strategic planning, and performance optimization across various business units. Leveraging tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet, JLL's BI professionals help teams better understand performance metrics, uncover trends, and communicate insights that drive value for clients and stakeholders.

What the job involves:

We are currently seeking aSummer Intern in Business Intelligenceto join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with Business Intelligence Managers and Senior Analysts to provide data insights, develop automated reporting solutions, and support analytics initiatives across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience using cutting-edge BI tools and learn how data informs strategic decision-making and operational improvement.

As aSummer Intern in Business Intelligenceat JLL, you will:

• Assist in delivering stakeholder insightsby analyzing service performance and aligning data outputs with diverse business needs.
• Help translate business needs into system and user requirementsand document them as technical specifications.
• Support the design and development of automated reports, dashboards, and analytical outputsto enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Gain hands-on experience using JLL Technologies tools,including Tableau, for developing interactive data visualizations and real-time insights.
• Perform data analysis on large datasetsusing SQL and other analytics tools to answer key business questions.
• Contribute to forecasting, trend analysis, and data visualization projectsto monitor performance indicators.
• Assist with system access management, perform recurring security audits,and troubleshoot permission or user issues.
• Support leadership with strategic projects,including operational optimization, quarterly business reporting, and data-driven presentations.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Required:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with 2-3 years completed inEngineering, Finance, Information Technology,or a related field.
• Strongorganizational and attention-to-detailskills.
• Excellentpresentation and communicationskills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, self-directed,and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Works effectively incollaborative and diverse teams.

Preferred:

• Ability toanalyze complex datasetsand identify patterns and insights.
• Experience gathering and interpretingfunctional and business requirements.
• Demonstratedinitiative, confidence, and professionalism.
• Exposure tostrategic thinkingor process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity withSharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, and Alteryx.
• Understanding ofclient needs and expectation management.
• Interest or experience inprocess re-engineering and continuous improvement.
