Job Summary:

The Product Manager leads the effective planning and life-cycle management of Cubic/Nuvotronics' RF mmwave products for commercial and defense applications. The Product Manager's responsibilities include a broad and deep understanding of the market, customers, competitors, and all applicable product lines. They work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, management, vendors, partners, and the industry as a whole. This position operates with limited supervision and requires the incumbent to regularly exercise decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing a subset of Nuvotronics' RF product portfolio for commercial and/or defense applications, in coordination with other product managers.

* Accountable for revenue, product growth, ROI, product launch, and go-to-market strategy for their product line.

* Creates, maintains, and owns the product roadmap and customer transition plans for their designated region, market, product line.

* Works closely with the sales team to ensure our product alignment with customers and markets.

* Collaborates closely with the internal product team, marketing communications, and business development team to drive product strategy.

* Ensures that the interests of the customers and the market are represented in the global product plan.

* Focuses on on-time execution, meeting customer expectations, and creating superior user experiences.

* Drives systemic product issues to resolution to minimize impact and disruption to customers.

* Works directly with the Technology team to identify emerging technologies and trends to incorporate into the product roadmap.

* Works closely with product management during the development of new solutions to ensure requirements are met on schedule and on budget.

* Acts as a Subject Matter and Industry expert at internal and external forums.

* Creates business cases, roadmaps, and product-health updates at product review meetings.

Minimum Job Requirements:

A minimum of a four-year college degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus a minimum of five years of experience in a technical, product management, or product marketing capacity is required. The candidate must have experience supporting defense and/or commercial markets, including EW, ISR, radar, and SATCOM payload hardware. This experience should include RF/microwave components and subsystems such as filters, multiplexers, diplexers, waveguide components, front-end modules, antennas, phased arrays, and mmWave assemblies for LEO, MEO, and GEO spacecraft, as well as airborne and ground terminals.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives, managers, engineers, and subject matter experts, to communicate new ideas or issues and the potential downside of continuing development on any product that might no longer be delivering intended value to customers. The candidate must possess a mixture of technical, business, and interpersonal skills to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, as well as customers, management, vendors, partners, and the industry as a whole. They must be detail-oriented and able to plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines. Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is required. The candidate must be willing and able to travel domestically on average up to 30%.

Cubic Pay Range:

$124,000.00 - $152,000.00 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
