Senior Technical Project Manager - Voice Systems

Location: Bethesda, MD

Peraton is looking for a dynamic, technically driven Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Voice Systems team. In this role, you will lead critical initiatives that directly support the safety and reliability of U.S. air travel.

What You'll Do

    Lead Program Execution: Define, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of complex network infrastructure and software projects from concept through deployment.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across RAN, hardware, software, and systems integration teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.

  • Manage Technical Risk: Proactively identify, mitigate, and track technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks-particularly within network deployments.

  • Enable Strategic Alignment: Ensure technical deliverables align with broader business objectives, program priorities, and long-term timelines.

  • Communicate with Impact: Deliver clear, concise project updates, dashboards, and status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • 12+ years of experience leading complex technical programs or projects, including:

    • End-to-end project planning and execution

    • Network infrastructure and/or software project management

    • Cross-functional team leadership (RAN, hardware, software, systems integration)

    • Vendor coordination and technical risk management

    • Schedule, dependency, and milestone tracking

    • Stakeholder communication, reporting, and dashboard development

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, or a related field or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Desired:

  • PMP certification

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
