Responsibilities and Requirements:

Oracle 19c Administration:

  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrades of Oracle 19c databases.
  • Knowledge and experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) technologies, such as ODA and Exadata.
  • Expertise in database migration, including transitions from older versions to Oracle 19c.

Database Development:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for developing and maintaining database objects and code.
  • Utilize tools like Data Pump, RMAN, and AWR/ADDM for effective data movement and analysis.
  • Capable of writing and maintaining shell scripts for monitoring and automation purposes.
  • Skilled in modeling and creating both logical and physical database models.
  • Develop PLSQL packages, functions, and procedures.
  • Strong expertise in Star-Schema data transformation.

Performance and Tuning:

  • Perform performance tuning for OLTP and batch workloads using tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, AWR, and ADDM.
  • Optimize SQL and queries to enhance application response times.
  • Experience with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and Exadata environments.

Backup and Recovery:

  • Design and execute robust backup and recovery strategies.
  • Implement and validate automated backup policies.
  • Perform database cloning and refreshes efficiently.

Security:

  • Implement security measures, user roles, and auditing to ensure data integrity and protection.
  • Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Advanced Security.

Cloud and Other Technologies:

  • Manage databases on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS EC2/RDS.
  • Familiarity with development languages and web technologies such as Java, .Net, C, C#, JavaScript, and more.
  • Exposure to SAP BO 4.3 is an added advantage.
  • SAFE Agile practice
  • Functional Domain experience in commercial banking technology is a plus.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $119,560.00 - $200,840.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
