The Lenovo Accelerated Sales Rotational (LASR) Program for Data Center is ready to add MORE new talent and you just may be a perfect candidate. The LASR for Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Technical Sales Representative helps drive technical sales for Lenovo's Data Center product line. The candidate will respond to technical requests from the sales teams. They will work with the North America sales teams and extended Channel community to drive and progress sales opportunities.

This is a full-time permanent position with a dedicated two-year development rotation as an Inside Technical Sales Representative.

Year One:
* Comprehensive on-boarding and customized training focused on consultative selling
* A rotation in a non-sales role to learn about Lenovo and the business
* A rotation as an SMB Representative to establish a strong foundation of product knowledge, consumer, and small business market strategy [Holiday Hours and overtime requirement]
* Up to six-month rotation:

  • Technical Track: Working in North America Infrastructure Solutions Group across our sales teams. The candidate will gain an understanding of our client segment requirements and mapping them to our data center portfolio. Learn from our best and brightest Senior Technical Advisors who inspire clients and provide inventive technology solutions.

Year Two:
* A minimum of 2-year rotation as an Inside Technical Sales Representative covering enterprise customers as well as channel business partners
* Upon completion of the LASR Program, Associates will be prepared to scale sales careers for positions across the US or may choose to consider other Lenovo business areas.

There are multiple positions available in our headquarters near Raleigh, NC. The start date for the program is June 2026.

Position Requirements:

Basic Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited university within 12 months of the program start date (May 2025 - May 2026 graduates are eligible) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related area.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • This position is based in Morrisville, NC and requires US work authorization without need for sponsorship (now or in the future).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Some sales or entrepreneurial or technical experience
  • Knowledge in Data Center technologies (Server virtualization, Storage Arrays, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, etc)
  • Experience with AI
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Experience authoring and presenting a solution
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in professional, academic, or volunteer environments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for technology
  • Professional maturity, strong work ethic, and the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Ability to work weekend and evening shifts during Consumer rotation
  • Excellent relationship and team building skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results
  • Ability to influence decisions through a sense of urgency and drive
