Job Description

Allstate Insurance Company is hiring for an individual contributor level Business Architect Sr. Consultant I. The selected individual willsupport thedevelopmentand drive solutionsforwardthat allow our organization to reach its goals by partnering with technology, businessstakeholdersand user experience.This role sits within the Sales and Distribution business team. The Sr. Consultant is responsible for conducting research and providing documentation for design components, recommendations, current/future state, and specifications. Your skills in data analytics, insurance business acumen, and collaboration will be well utilized in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Learn the theory behind the refresh, GPP, simplification, and other technology driven business strategies and understand why those application changes are suggested to our core systems

* Create and document simple design recommendations by applying approved architecture standards.

* Perform requirements analysis activities and develop the design of simple architecture components. Produce and present documentation of these components.

* Perform research in support of the design of architecture components and develop the design of simple components. Produce and present documentation of these components.

* Design architectural components for an application, system or initiative.

* Apply reference architectures and positions toward the design, deployment and support of low complexity systems.

* Identify potential changes to the existing architectures.

* Learn the business drivers behind our applications and initiatives.

* Maintain awareness of current architectures and guide their application to initiatives as appropriate.

* Utilize reusable patterns, practices, and enterprise reference architectures that fit within the overall Allstate architectural blueprint.

Education

* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

* 3 or more years of related experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 85,000.00 - 145,075.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
