Contract Specialist Clifton, VA (remote) Pay From: $35.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Contract Specialist 5+ years of construction contracting experience Construction acquisition planning Preparing or reviewing construction SOWs/PWS Developing construction solicitations (IFB/RFP) 3+ years of Architect-Engineer (A/E) Contracting Experience Reviewing and evaluating SF-330 qualification packages Participating in Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) Supporting or participating in A/E evaluation boards Federal contracting experience is required Familiarity with FAR Parts 15, 36, and 36.6 Bachelor's degree required DUTIES: The Contract Specialist provides cradle-to-grave federal acquisition support for construction and architect-engineer (A/E) procurements in accordance with FAR Part 36 and FAR 36.6 (Brooks Act). The specialist performs pre-award and post-award contracting functions, supports acquisition planning, evaluates proposals and SF-330s, conducts negotiations, and administers construction and A/E contracts and task orders. Develop acquisition strategies for construction and A/E requirements Prepare solicitation documents (IFB, RFP, RFQ, SF-330 announcements) Conduct market research and prepare acquisition plans Evaluate construction proposals and A/E SF-330s Participate in or support A/E evaluation boards Conduct negotiations and prepare negotiation memoranda Prepare award documentation Administer construction and A/E contracts Review deliverables, invoices, and progress schedules Process modifications, change orders, and claims Support REA evaluations and negotiations Coordinate with CORs, engineers, architects, and project managers Maintain contract files and ensure compliance with FAR and agency policy Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
